ABUSE: A look through the lens

Just to throw out a warning ahead of time....The following images are of very serious/grave subject matter as they are part of a series of Photographs I am doing about abuse and against violence. (With a focus on abuse towards women and children) I found the subject a very sensitive one, however allowing the subject to remain unexposed leads to serious consequences. Domestic abuse has always placed those getting abused in a place of silence, pain and fear. I want to encourage those finding themselves in these situations to not remain silent.
